ICMQD
ICMQD, or the Integration and Communication Management of Quality Department, is where Roy Durand finds employment. Not quite the dull beauracratic office environment he had expected; they have an armoury but no photocopier room, a firing range but no (safe) vending machines. The organisation is a front for a project codenamed Aurora, established by the UN in June 2017, in response to the mysterious 'Atlanta Incident' of which no records appear anywhere. Strange, dangerous things have begun to happen, and a specialist organisation was deemed neccesary. Secrecy essential, hence the elaborate disguise and a method of gaining entry to the building that only a complete fool would ever guess at.
At first, the organisation seemed to all involved to be a tax write off of some kind. Nothing happened for several months, and the whole thing appeared a pointless waste of resources. Then, an unexpected incident in Subway Station 214 in New York City sparked events into life, as similar occurances began to spring up, apparently centred on the city. Roy finds himself plunged into a situation beyond his comprehension as ICMQD faces its greatest threat, on his first day.
